When this tool is used, it rips the Metoba S18SB and everything else out of the way. It isn’t perfect, but it’s close enough to be good. A lot of fun.

PROS.

(1) “Soft-start,” “smooth,” and “quiet” are all great features.

If you want to do something, you need to do it at different speeds. Without it, other sanders don’t sell.

(3) It smells good.

A (4) Constant RPM and torque system.

(5) Parts that are easy to find if they are ever needed.

Seventh: The most power (amperage) “sander is the name.

(8) The highest RPM was 7 at this point “sander is the name.

Light weight!!. The Metabo S18SB is a lot lighter and has a better balance and feel than this one. We don’t know for sure if Makita included the cord in the weight, but we think they did.

CONS.

It’s not true. Some time ago, all of the Makita power tools came in really nice metal boxes. This is both backwards and sad.

(2) There is no shaft lock. Changing discs and pads is a long and messy process that requires two wrenches. ::::::::::::::.

Three (3): The plastic handle of a hard plastic bottle looks and feels cheap.

(4) The hard plastic motor cover is poorly made and doesn’t fit very well.

(five) The cord isn’t connected to anything. It’s also very light. A ground terminal would make it more likely to stay plugged in to the wall.

* Keep in mind that the photos at Amazon and Makita are all mixed up, and there aren’t many useful specs there. GV7000C is a high-speed sander. It doesn’t have the two-speed button. The PV7001C is not a sander, but it does have the button. Is this what you meant? The GV7000C is shown on Amazon “with” the button, but it doesn’t have one. Makita also shows the PV7001C “WITHOUT” the button, but it has one.

See my Amazon review of the Metabo S18SB to see what people think about the stove.
