7 year warrant. For the first time, I’m not a roofer. I bought this for a side project and thought I could sell it off when I was done.

Because it works so well, I decided to keep it. I may do some siding from time to time, so I may need to keep it.

In the second place, I’ve had some experience with these kinds of things. I used to work in the shop of a roofing company, where I fixed all kinds of pneumatic nailers all the time.

It’s built well, drives nails in the right way, and is easy to fly with. All I had available due to access for the one and only shingle project I’ll be using this gun on was a sad little pancake compressor. It only ran 10% of the time and I was going at a good speed. Rubber bumpers kept it in place when I put it down on a 5/12 roof. The grip is comfortable, the weight isn’t too much, and the adjustments let you get everything just right.

So far, I’ve only used it to hang a few hardie boards. It does a great job of running nails through cement siding. My next project is vinyl, and the gun is ready. It doesn’t pinch the vinyl with every shot but holds it tight. Can’t want more than that.

It’s been holding up well for all of the other things I do, too, which is good. Hanging house wrap under an old home where the wood was too hard to use a slap stapler and I don’t have a wide-crown pneumatic was a lot of work. To get rid of a box of nails that had been outside in the rain, they were rusty. None of the nails that should have been thrown away jammed or didn’t work. I just had to clean up the mess after I was done.

There are too many Hitachis, Bostitch, and Dewalts I’ve had to fix to spend money on them again. I’m sure this gun will last longer than them, and it might even be better than a good Paslode or Max.
