In the past, I’ve bought a lot of other Craftsman 20v tools. I wanted to get an impact driver so I could drive screws better and not break the heads off. I looked into it, and I decided to stay with Craftsman because my other tools have been good at what they were made to do. I can now use the charger from Craftsman and two batteries from this impact driver with the charger and the two batteries. I liked that I could get the driver without the charger or battery, because I already have them, so I didn’t need to buy them. It was time to drive some long screws into my deck’s 4×4 posts to keep them in place. I bought some screws with star drive or toro head screws. I used my impact driver to screw them right through the top of the post into the beam. I wouldn’t have been able to drive these long screws with my battery drill without stripping the heads because soon after it hit the wood, it would slow down and stop while stripping the head and not being able to drive the screws all the way through. This driver used a lot of torque and shocks to completely remove the screws that held the post in place. In the same way that my weedwacker and hedge trimmer were made by Craftsman, this driver is also very good at what it does. I think this driver is great because of its quality, design, and functionality.

In the past, I have bought a Craftsman product from this seller and found that it was made by Techtronics, not Craftsman. I’m returning this product. The brand or manufacturer should be the most important thing to look at. Craftsman doesn’t make this item. It was made by “V3. There is a plastic bag with the item when it comes to you in a cardboard box. In the factory, there isn’t any packaging that should have told me this. Before I learned about the fake manufacturer, I said things that were not true. But I don’t think it’s a good idea to buy this item from this seller. I do like Craftsman V20 tools in general.
