Only one person will use this item. I had a 2005 Ford Focus with less than 70, 000 miles on it that I used to own. I bought it new, and it was a cream puff. There was never a problem with it, and there was not even a scratch on it. A fire broke out in the engine compartment after he went to the store one day. It turns out that a rat had built a nest in less than two weeks. It chewed through some wires, which caused an electrical fire. I lost everything. A car with less than 70K miles can’t be bought for less than $3,000. I bought another clean Focus, the same year and color, with 250K miles on it and a bad transmission. I didn’t like a tool that only had two different settings for tightening and no way to turn it around. But for lug nuts, that’s fine. Anyhow, I’d be running it “full on. As long as I didn’t need to change another tire or do a brake job after this, I just hoped it would have enough torque to do the job.
You’re going to be shocked by this little thing. It has a lot of weight. I don’t like lightweight tools that say they can do things that other tools can’t. Because it was so easy to remove the first lug nut, I was shocked. When I was done, I had all eight wheels done in less than 30 minutes. I used a standard lug wrench to check the tightness of the new lug nuts. It was very hard to get the new lug nuts off. The machine did a great job, saving my back and a lot of time that I would have spent yelling at the wheels. This one job paid for the unit in my book, and anything else it does is a bonus.
