I have the Stinger CH38A, which comes with a built-in feeder. It was a gift I bought on Amazon. I only used it twice for a few days before giving it back. Putting underlayment on the front part didn’t cause me a lot of trouble. I finished the second half a few days after I finished the first one, though. Welds on both sides of the automatic feeder plate broke close to the end of a project because they were not strong enough. People call this “hammer” stapler because it has a lot of nails. It has a cheap weld. There’s no way this model is built to last a very long time. Nobody added anything else to the automatic feeder plate. Your engineers need to go back to the drawing board and come up with a new plan. Yes, they have been in the real world before. So I go to see if I can return something. Sorry. It was about six days old. It’s almost certain that this item comes with a warranty. NO didn’t see any. So I’m stuck with a bad weld. For clerical work, they made that weld. They didn’t use it as a hammer for the roof. It is very sad. Do you have any ideas. There is at least a buy back plan for the other hammer. All of the air staplers come with a money-back deal. There are problems with this product, but Stinger is still selling the product even though there isn’t a warranty or way to get it back. In this case, this product should be used like a stapler for clerical paper. If you hit it hard with a “hammer” stapler, it won’t work. But if you hit it too soft, it won’t work right.
