In this case, the Hex Impact Adapter is 3/8 inches long by 1/4 inches wide.
The adapter was used on an impact wrench to remove about 20 screws from 2×4 boards. The adapter got stuck with the bit in it. This is how it looked. In this case, the adapter comes off before the tool does. To get the bit out of the adapter, I had to use a vice and some pliers. Design that isn’t good and that doesn’t work well
