It was bad the first time I called Hoover customer service. It was my boyfriend’s suggestion that I try this email address instead of going through their customer service on their website. He said he saw that some bad reviews had been contacted by Hoover. I did, and this person got back to me and sent me a new roller that day. People sent me a letter about the roller that broke so they could figure out what was wrong. In the past few weeks, I’ve been on a lot of work trips and caught a cold on the plane. I haven’t been able to use the new roller. However, even though I hadn’t tried it out, I could see that it moved freely and that it would most likely work.
I got my hands on a new bottle of their Tile & Grout formula. I have it in my kitchen and bathroom. It says that you can use this on other surfaces, so because it said that, I used it in my hall way and on my way to the kitchen, too. As soon as I ran out of battery power, I stopped. I didn’t want to not be able to clean things.
There are now all the things you could ever want on their website, so I checked it out. With two sizes of batteries, the rollers, and more. The fact that Hoover wasn’t fully stocked with this product shows that it was new enough that they hadn’t yet. A good thing would have been if the customer service group had been told about the changes.

It stopped working after just four hours of use: The “all surface” brush roller stopped working.
All surface brush roller had a problem after about 4 hours of using this. When it didn’t move freely, the unit turned off. There was no reason why it did this because it didn’t have anything around it or get hurt in any way. When I switched to a gentle brush roller, it worked just fine.
Old news: You can no longer order a brush roller from a factory online and have it shipped to you.
After two attempts and a week of waiting, customer service responded to my email and asked for proof of purchase and other things. It was very slow. This product was given to me to review. I told the people who gave it to me that they should treat me like a customer without a warranty, and they did. It is no longer possible to order this part from the factory. They gave me a link to look for service centers in my area.
People used to say that service centers were only near cities, and they couldn’t get the part.
They gave me a link, and I used it. I live in a city with three service centers (not unique to Hoover, but on their list) and one near me. If I were in my hometown, I would have had to drive 45 miles to do this. In order to get the part I needed for my device, I called the service center near me and he looked up the device I needed. If I couldn’t order the item online, he said that he couldn’t do the same thing. So I can’t do anything. Seriously.

Okay, this machine caught my eye in two ways.
The tile, wood, and laminate floors in my house are all in good shape. None of them are a problem for me. I use vacuums on all three and steam clean the tile. I use a wet swiffer on the laminate and wood floors.
So thanks to having four cats, it doesn’t feel like I get things that clean when I use the steam cleaner or the swiffer.

First time.
Because it’s big, it’s very heavy for its size. Maybe 12 to 15 pounds. It was also interesting how well everything worked together. Snapped in well. The roller fell in place. There were no seams on the roller cover. Putting in water was simple because it was easy to grip; putting out water was the same. Was made well.
It took a while to charge the battery, but when it was full, I took it for a drive. Water and a solution were in the container, so I filled it up with water and then used it to clean my kitchen floor. There are small and large floor size marks for water and solution on the container itself. If you used a steam cleaner on your carpet, it wouldn’t have left it as wet as it would have. First, I didn’t vacuum because I didn’t want to. It had a lot of cat hair to pick up, but there were no snags as I was cleaning. It took me a long time to clean hard-to-reach places. I later found out that I had missed a few places when I went back over them. I don’t blame the machine because the floor is made up of different textures. There was a spot I didn’t notice because I thought it looked like the texture at first. I liked the smell that the solution made the water smell like when it was mixed with it. When I ran the machine for 15 seconds, it drew all the water out. So, I put it in a tray to dry with the machine. I didn’t empty the water that came into the machine. The water that came out was full of dirt and cat hair. To avoid putting so much cat hair in my kitchen garbage disposal, I flushed it down the toilet. The unit was easy to clean.
SECOND TIME.
Last time, I didn’t recharge the battery because I didn’t see a message about that. I filled the container to the brim with enough food for a lot of food (and noted I had not emptied it from the prior use, oops). If you start in a small room (the bathroom), you’ll be done by the time you get to the end of that room. That means you can use two full rooms for free. It worked well until the unit turned off and the red battery light came on before it shut down.
I charged it for two hours, and then I did the spare bedroom, hallway, and kitchen all over again. In the same way that the battery went out again, s. All of the things I had planned to do with it were done (living room, dining room and hallway). As soon as the battery died, you might not be able to stop and clean the roller. You could put it away when the battery died. I also had a lot of solution left in the unit that I didn’t want to waste. I think I left it the way I did last time by accident.
This is the level of cleanliness.
Things that I thought it should have found didn’t. It missed a few pieces of dirt. Clean spots on the wood floor. Sticky things that I had to scrape off the floor would not come up. I also used it to clean a small rug in the front door. There is a stain on the carpet from cat vomit that has been cleaned (if you have cats, you know this is an issue). However, it did not need to be vacuumed first, and it did not do any worse than the swiffer would have done. There was a win right now.
The battery life was not bad. It worked right up until I had to stop and gave me a heads up. If you plan to clean two rooms back to back, two batteries might be worth the money. If you spread out the cleaning, you can save money and get more done for less money. There are a lot of batteries for a lot of money.
