Make sure you have enough power to keep working with the Makita 10 Gauge Nibbler (model JN3201). It has enough power so you can keep working with up to 10 Gauge mild steel or 13 Gauge Stainless Steel for as long as you want. All ball and needle bearings help make the tool last longer. A built-in thickness gauge makes things easier, and it’s easier to use. For more convenience, the Makita JN3201 has a punch and die that can be replaced quickly, as well as double insulation for a longer tool life. If you have a mark to follow, it’s not hard to cut an even line without any help. How quickly this thing cuts amazed me. I own and run a welding shop, and this tool has helped me a lot with cutting curves as I had hoped it would. But I’m surprised by how fast and easy it is to cut straight lines. I didn’t expect that, but I love it. This building has a lot of strength. Much better than my sheers from Milwakee, which I used to wear.
Another good thing about this tool is that it can be used to cut off just a little bit of material very precisely. 1/16th or 1/8th inch. Not at all. Clamp on to the guide and go. An easy and quick job done right the first time
