I build model airplanes as a hobby. You can think of it as woodworking or cabinet making on a small scale. I bought the tool to keep on my workbench so I could drill small holes in soft wood and start holes for bigger holes. For that, it works great. But after less than two hours of running the drill over three months, the electrical connection came loose and the drill doesn’t work. In fact, the female connector on the back of the drill has come loose, so the motor doesn’t get any power at all. See if I can take apart the case and fix it.
Update for Octobe. I bought a second one because I couldn’t figure out how to get the case apart without a pin spanner. This time, I put epoxy around the female plug on the back. It’s a good thing that will keep the connection in place, though.
