Elegant isn’t a word I use to describe a power tool very often. My old Unisaw was nice, but it had a lot of flaws, so I sold it. This Bosch saw is everything a table saw should be. It is truly beautiful. Smooth. Quiet. Almost no vibrations at all. The only thing I don’t like is the ads. I didn’t know about things that made me happy with my purchase that I didn’t know about before I bought it. They didn’t get a chance in the ad. Table saws have a lot of spare parts, and it’s always a pain to store them. In this unit, there are built-in places to store everything. It doesn’t say so in the ad, but the rip fence comes with a piece for making thin cuts. I also got a blade wrench, a place to keep extra blades, and a pre-cut blade locator for making important cuts. The power cord storage area makes it much easier to fold and store. At first, I thought there was grease on the surface of the table. I was wrong. A teflon-like coating makes it easy to cut sticky wood, pressure-treated wood, green pine, and other hard to feed wood. Sales of this tool could and should be a lot better. I’m glad I bought this.
