I bought this Tight Fit Hex Bit Drill Right Angle Attachment Kit to help me install Blumotion Hinge Adapter, Compact w/ Spacer – 10 Pack. I used it to do this. Imagine my surprise when I saw that this tool had already been reviewed for the same thing by M. Allen on May 16, 2011. This tool worked great. It’s very good, as are the other parts in the set. (Note: I was looking for a 7/64 inch drill) “a drill bit for a pilot hole for an 8-inch screw. I also bought a hex bit adapter that lets you use regular drill bits with a set screw. In fact, it fits perfectly in the Tight Fit unit because it has the same base and locks into the Tight Fit in the same way that their own does. You can see this on the back of the package. Use the Tight Fit Hex Bit set for other things. I couldn’t find a single 7/64 piece “A hex bit at a local home improvement store. I didn’t want to buy a whole set of hex bits that I didn’t need or want.
At this point, I have only used drills. I expect to use screwdrivers for other things. When the adapter moved forward, it kept the drill bit in place. I was able to put in the 10 Blumotion quiet close cabinet adapters. I’m going to buy more now to finish the job. I would recommend this product because it was easy to use and had a good build. I would buy from this company again.
