Festool Centrotec cordless drills will work with this tool.
Accepts 3/8-inch sockets that are the same as those used on most cars.

I was on a quest to finish my centrotec systainer, so I bought these because they were so obvious. My CXS drill (centrotec chuck) snaps them into place, but the ball detent is so weak that the socket pulls right off the adapter. You can’t move the magnet in the chuck with the spring in the adapter. It’s not strong enough. Suppose you let go of the centrotec chuck and pull on the socket to insert a drill bit. The socket pulls away from its adapter so that it can no longer be used with one hand. I called “the tool nut” about the problem, and they were very kind and sent me a new one. Unfortunately, the replacement is the same. I now use the much better and less expensive Milwaukee socket adapter with the highly recommended centrotec quick release bit holder to get the job done.
People in Germany did not get this one right in the end. Save money.
