This product was used to help get rid of a lot of old flaking paint from reclaimed wood doors. Sanding the patina would make the final product look bad. I didn’t want to ruin the patina so much that the final product’s look would be bad if I did it. This product exceeded my expectations and blew Porter Cable’s other product out of the water, which is why I’m so happy with it. Due to its use, the noise level is low. Also, there isn’t a lot of dust, and a vacuum dust system can pick it up if it’s used inside. Because it’s a one-trick pony, I will only use it for this. With both its cost and the cost of extra or replacement brushes, the price of this product is too high and will make people look at the competitor’s product instead. It will not disappoint you if you don’t mind the cost.
