The Fasco Upholstery Staplers are used for a lot of different things, like felt, insulation, upholstery, and fine woodwork. This means that these tools can fire all of the brand name fasteners, as well as the generic interchange fasteners.
It’s a great tool. My wife, who is also an upholsterer, could not handle the safety feature. In order to keep the staples from coming out, I used my middle finger to keep it from coming out. I cut off the plastic tap for her, which meant that the safety didn’t work. Now it’s the same as our other staplers, so we can use it the same way.
