An overview of what this item is abou.

If you want to blend and smooth fillers, feather edging, and prepare the surface for painting, the Chicago Pneumatic Dual Action Sander is the right tool for you. An electric motor that can run at 0.5 HP gives it 5,000 RPM of free speed. Using this dual action sander, you can quickly get rid of a lot of material. It has a fine finishing speed regulator that lets you adjust the speed to the job. Locking the throttle and having an insulated grip make it less likely that the machine will start up by accident. The air inlet is 1/4 inches wide and has a 3/8-inch wide hose. The size of the sand paper is 6-by-9-inches.

A high-end shop where we mostly work on Porsche and Audi cars. I also have two other DA sanders (Hutchins and Snap-On) that I use to finish the DA’s I sue most of the time. You can cut and remove bumpers and hoods with this machine. A bumper job would take 1.5-2 hours to get rid of when we used our finishing sanders for the job. This one takes 30 minutes at most. Worth the money. This is what I’m going to use to get rid of the parts of my 1972 Nova.
