This is a great saw. I like that it doesn’t have a lot of torque. It isn’t as scary to use as a power saw. Almost like a jig saw, I’ve been cutting 2x4s in my lap while I’m sitting down. Because it is made of wood, you don’t have to worry about it flying and cutting your arm off. 8.0 Ah batteries are the best way to get more power. I’ve been a carpenter for 35 years, and I’m very happy to have this tool in my toolbox. A circ saw is a good thing to keep, but this is now the one I use most.
