The BOSCH JA1007 Dust Extraction Kit can be used with BOSCH JS470E and JS470EB Jig Saws. It can be used to collect and remove dust from the saws. This kit comes with a Clear Dust Hood (2605510293), a Dust Tube (2605730055), and a Vacuum Hose Adapter (VAC024).
I bought this one because it’s about $50 cheaper than Milwaukee and I only use it a few times a week.
Speed control is one of the good things about this car.
Negatives: The blade access doors and hinges seem to be made of cheap materials. They aren’t as good as Milwaukee saws I’ve used in general.
Mine didn’t work right away. Pulling the trigger didn’t do anything. Scratched my head and tried a few things, but nothing worked. Then, for no reason, it started working. A few times I’ve used it, I still have the same problem with it. I called Bosch for help and we’ll see where it goes.
This is an update: Bosch asked me to send the saw to New Jersey for repair at their expense, and they fixed the switch. When it came back, it worked for a few small tasks, but then it went back to being unresponsive. A second time, Bosch asked me to pack it up again, and they changed the “electronic control,” which isn’t clear what it is. This happened again when it came back. The first time it worked for a small job, but then I pulled the trigger and nothing happened again. Lemons are bad. Wish I had spent the extra $50 to get a Milwaukee instead of a New York City. Bosch is going to have to give me back all of my money at this point.
