2 1/2 in. Universal Tool Adapter for Wet/Dry Vacuum . Because it is made of rubber, this adapter can be cut to fit different sizes. Connect it to your wet and dry shop vac tools. The hot water will help if the item doesn’t fit. This will loosen the rubber and make it fit better.
To connect more tools to your dust collection system, connect the shop vac attachment to the end of the hose. The shop vac adapter is about 2 1/2 to 1 1/4 inches long. Most wet and dry vac attachments will fit, but check the dimensions in the picture to make sure it’s the right size.

These are adapters that let you connect vacuum hoses together. Hose Reducer: This is a rubber reducer that fits 2.5 in pipes. You can run the end under hot water to soften the rubber. Then, try to put it on your hose and see if it fits. For hoses that measure 1 inch to 2 inches, this universal vacuum hose adapter can be cut in half. The rubber makes it easy to cut. This shop vacuum hose adapter can be used with dust collectors, dust collectors for miter saws, dust collectors for router tables, or your wet and dry vacuum to get rid of dust. Generic Shop Vac adapter is 1 1/4 to 2 1/2 inches long. In this case, it is made of a hard plastic. Make sure your shop vacuum hose is the right size before you buy this tool.
Hitachi miter saw and two shop vacs: I have both of these tools. Another brand is Ridgid. None of these adapters work well with any of these three things. A bump could make it fall off, or it just won’t fit. Either I don’t know how to use the product or my devices don’t have enough space for the items I bought.
