Please check out my review of Amazon ASIN B08BZ53LZ1 480W Rotary/Die Grinder Tool, which I bought on Amazon. Using the power tool, there is a very well made metal collar that protects the chuck. It also protects the spindle beneath it from getting dust and other debris. I thought that having an easy-to-put-on and easy-to-take-off side handle on that collar would make it more stable and comfortable. It would also help to ease the pain in your hands.

This one handle has a diameter that’s close enough to that of the collar, but it’s still a little bigger than the collar. Then, I had to do two things. 1. Take it apart and flip the metal clamping band around in the handle, then put it back together. 2. Add a small piece of non-slip rubber shelf liner to a section of the collar so that I could really tighten the handle down so that it wouldn’t turn. There is a good chance that I will also cut off the depth rod part of the handle.

It will help me have more control and comfort while carving with power carving bits, but it won’t get in the way. I won’t have to hold the die ginder with both hands like the handle of a baseball bat. 🙂
