Following use, the first time I used this item I had to unwind it by hand, which isn’t as simple as just pulling it out. I thought the strap might have moved to one side, causing a knot. On the second time I used it, I made sure the strap was even. I still couldn’t get the strap off when I was done with the task. Once again, it’s not fun or easy to get rid of things. I then saw that one of the two posts where the strap goes through to start the ratchet was bent. I’m working with the manufacturer to get a new one.
