A good choice if you don’t have a cordless drill or don’t have the space to move one. With out a handle, you wouldn’t want this to have much torque. Still a lot of power, but on the lowest setting, it’s still way too powerful for some things, like small wood screws. If you don’t pay attention, it could strip them if you’re not careful. There are smaller screwdrivers for this. When you use a power tool to tighten something, it’s always a little risky. Most drills stop when you let go, but this one keeps going for a while. No big deal, but it could mean that this isn’t the best tool for some types of work. A tool like this would be very useful for disassembly, I’m sure. In my job, I repair electric guitars. I’ll use this tool to take them apart because some guitars have many screws. I’ll have to be very careful when I put them together, because it might have too much torque. This keeps the driver from being turned on while it is in the case. The screwdriver body is about the same size as a straight electric driver like this could be and still be held on to by most people.
As a whole, this looks like a good little device. I love my cordless electric drill and impact driver, but sometimes this will be just as good and less heavy. Expect to use it a lot.
