With Milwaukee’s new BodyGrip routers, you can get the “edge” over other people. The new BodyGrip Routers come with the industry’s first tactile handgrip built into the base of the router, a fast, accurate linear depth adjustment system, a patented above-the-table depth adjustment mechanism, and a RouterStation that comes with the case.
Powerful and precise, these new routers are made by Milwaukee and have a 1-3/4 max HP (11 Amp, 24,000 RPM) motor. They give you the upper hand in all but the heaviest of cuts. The BodyGrip design has a comfortable, over-molded rubber grip that wraps around the base and has an adjustable handstrap that lets you use it with either your left or right hand. It also has two over-molded palm-grip side handles that make it easier to move and control.
The unique linear depth adjustment has a large steel motor lock lever and gearing for depth adjustment that is built into the motor itself. Both big and small changes are quick and accurate. The router sub-base has a special access hole for a common 3/8-inch hex extension wrench that can be used to make height adjustments above the table. This is ideal for router table applications and eliminates the hassle of having to reach below the table to set the cutter (or bit) height. This new system makes this process much easier than it used to be, and it also makes sure that the switch and cord stay in the same place.
