1. This case is not hard. It is a foam-cored textile case that is good for what it was made for.

In this case, there is no Bar-Tacking or even a Box-X stitch, but only a straight seaming stitch that attaches the handle to the back of the case. This is right where the zipper tracks end. So, the seaming stitching can’t even get through the body fabric because it runs into the zipper track. Because of the way it was made, this will always fail.
My handle came away from my body in less than an hour.
