Second 6302H. For 18 years, I used the first one to make 5 gallon batches of both regular wall mud and ultra-stiff durabond. I bought it in 1990. It never looked at me. Even on an extension cord, there was never a whiff of the smell of a hot motor. You can use this because it has a small size but lots of power. Sure, they can be bigger and have more amps, but then they’re big and hard to pack, get inside stud spaces, and fit in a normal-sized toolbox. So last week, without warning, it went pffft, GRIND, and smoked. It then died, and it was very sad. There were parts that looked like they were chewed and broken when I took it apart. Somehow, maybe it could have been fixed. At least half the price of a new one. So I thought that 25 years was a pretty good run. I threw it away and went shopping. I did a lot of research to see if anything new or important had happened in the years since I last looked. It was all worth it when I found out I could still get another copy of the old girl. Because I couldn’t find anything else for the same price with the same or better specs and features, I decided to buy the one I had. Is it good. no. But it’s close. I think this is great for both contractors and people who like to do things on their own. If you’re looking for a cheap way to do things like drill and mix, this is the way to go.

As other people have said, it has a lot of power, so be careful. Early in the day, I lost the auxiliary handle. When I was rubbing a sore wrist, I wished I had it. As I get older and wiser, I won’t keep it on all the time, but I won’t give it up either, because I know better now. VSR: Flexible rubber cord, reverse switch out of the way but easy to reach. All of the things you need in a small, lightweight, and very powerful package. I usually don’t give 5 stars to anything because I don’t want to stop myself from working hard. But for this little blue tool, which is almost perfect, I will.
