I live in the great state of Georgia, and I go to the United States every day. In the garage, the people who bought my house thought it would be a good idea to put epoxy flooring on top of unprepared floor tiles. So, it looks like Mike Holmes came down to Georgia and spread this shit. My father-in-Bosh law’s drill didn’t want to come up too easy with this. To see how much it would cost to rent an SDS-Max at our local Home Depot, I looked at the prices. I found that buying this Chinese rig would be cheaper than renting two days of theirs. This animal shows up at my door after I threw the dice.
Monkey King Bar SDS-Max came today, and I put it to use right away. Not yet. I don’t know how powerful this animal is, as its name implies. It started ripping up tile like it was no big deal and didn’t stop. When I first picked it up, I didn’t think it was very heavy. After ripping up a small piece of the floor, I realized this monkey was very well-fed. Because of my Dewalt 20v drill, this Monkey King is to the baboon what the spider monkey is to the drill.
Dewalts are black and yellow, just like the Monkey King. It might be possible to spray paint it and make it look like a Dewalt so that you can hang out with the cool kids. For a fraction of the price, I can at least play the game. Black smoke started coming out of the Monkey King after it was used for an hour and a half. No matter how much I wanted to believe that it was magical, the smell made me think that it wasn’t true. I used a Dewalt hand drill last year and it caught fire. I also let the smoke out of that one, too. As long as the smoke stays inside the motor wires, it will work. That’s why I let the Monkey King cool down a little before I kept going. It still works, and the smoke has stopped coming out. I think it will be able to fight another day.
So, I paid $140 for this thing and it comes with a 90-day warranty, but that’s not the only thing. I could have bought a four-year protection plan for it for an extra $30, but I’m lazy and I’m not going to remember it. Many hours of my time will be saved by this. Time is worth more than $50 an hour because I get more than that at work (my wife would probably value it in the single digests). After three hours, I’m making money from this. As long as it doesn’t work that way for you because you’ve been married for 19 years, you can take it anyway you can.
