If you are thinking about using this sander in your home garage, know that it takes a lot of air. When I bought this sander, I bought a 5 hp compressor (12.8 cfm @ 90 psi, 2 stage) to use with it. It didn’t have enough air for the job. The sander was almost used as a hand long board sander. The sandpaper clamping mechanism is hard to use with other sanders, and it takes two hands to load paper. Unfortunately, it’s the only long orbital on the market, and their high price shows that because it is the only one.
