The FinishPro 18 can run at 70 to 95 psi and drive 18-gauge brad nails from 5/8 inch to 2 inches. There are a lot of different things you can use this for, like installing interior trim and cabinets, chair rail, crown molding, baseboards, bookshelves, and outside trim.

I just got my Senco compressor kit by overnight UPS for a total of $203.99, which is a good deal considering the price of small/low db compressors. The first impressions. Can’t believe everything in the kit fits in that small box that was left for me at the door. You can start unboxing it when you bring it in now. In case the box is thrown around, there isn’t any Styrofoam to protect the compressor. I don’t see any damage from its short stay with UPS. Pull everything out and find an air compressor the size of a milk crate. This thing is so small that it’s hard to get a sense of how big it is from a picture. The real test is how loud it is. Plug everything in.
As a result, I had a hard time deciding which one to buy. There is a great YouTube review of the JC10 that shows how quiet and effective it is, but there aren’t any of the Senco units that are as good as it. I took a chance on the Senco because it was 20 pounds lighter than the JC10 and had everything I needed to start cutting.
In order to keep talking, you have to raise your voice a little when you plug it in. If I had used the PC pancake to install wood floors, it would have been just plain noisy and shook the house. The JC10 is whisper quiet. My Keurig B40 makes a sound that would make you have to say something, but no one says anything when coffee pumps.
I put a few 2″ brads in a small piece of trim tonight, and the unit looks great. I can’t imagine being held up by the PC1010 or having to wait for it to pump while I’m installing any trim in my house. This thing didn’t even break a sweat when it used the brad nailer. With the compressor nearby, I was able to stretch the hose to about 10 feet. I wouldn’t be able to get a real 25-foot stretch without pulling the compressor over the floor like a shopvac.
Based on the combination of features and especially the weight and size, I’m going to keep it. It’s now on a shelf in my coat closet. I can’t be happier with it.
