(1) DAMO dry pads are used to dry polish soft stones, like marble, or stones with a light color.

First, put on an apron, a gauze mask, and safety glasses. Connect a Back Holder to the Polisher, and attach a Damo Dry Pad of grit 50 to the Back Holder with the Back Holder. Make sure the speed is between 3,000 and 4,000 RPM and then start the polishing process.

(3) Moving two passes across and one pass up and down is a good way to do it, too. Each time you use a grit pad, make sure to wipe down the work surface with a wet towel. To make sure there aren’t any polishing particles that will get into the next grit pad and scratch the surface, do this first. Make sure there are no scratches left from the previous grit before moving on to the next one. Repeat the same steps with all 7 pads to finish polishing. Polish from grit 50 to grit 3000. Do not forget about it.

(4) If you want to get the best results when you polish light-colored granite, use a white Buff Pad as the last step. Wet the work piece and run the Buff Pad with very little water on it. When the water is gone, the process is over. Repeat as many times as needed to get the mirror effect.

It worked well to polish 12″ granite tiles for a bathroom remodel, and that worked out well. Polished edges were used to make exposed edges look and feel like front polished granite, making them look and feel like front polished granite. For more than 50 feet, this set worked well. After taking Velcro apart 100 or more times, the Velcro on the base plate starts to come apart. You can glue it back down.
