Air Locker AL83A Full Head Framing Nailer can shoot nails that are up to 3-1/4″ long. If you have a Hitachi NR83A2 framing nailer, this nailer will work with it. All nailer parts can be used with a Hitachi nailer. Also, it has an open nose design that makes it easy to remove stuck nails, a rubber grip for easy use, and a magazine made of aluminum.
Just arrived. Hitachi has made this for a long time. Needed a nail gun with depth adjustment but Hitachi doesn’t make this model any more, so I had to look for another one. From the outside, it looks just like a Hitachi NR83. I’ll let you know how it works after I use it.

It’s still going on. Has done a little work on fascia and some shear nails. So far, I think it’s great.

After about a year of light duty use, the seals on the top air vent are letting air out.
Several of the o-rings are flat. Going to try to replace them and see if that helps. It could be that bad machining is making them wear out too quickly or they were made with cheap rubber. After I try that fix, I’ll post again. There is a chance this gun won’t last long.
