The lock on the fence doesn’t stay in place and can’t be tightened any more, so your cut accuracy will get worse with each cut. As I cut, I lost about 1/8″ of accuracy. I made about 100 cuts and lost about that much accuracy over the course of the cut.

Make sure the fence hasn’t moved after every cut.

Still, it’s a good saw. I just need to jerry-rig the fence to keep it closed.
