It fit perfectly, as it should have, given that it was directly from the manufacturer. The one I replaced had been in place for at least 20 years. They do a fantastic job of keeping your tool from becoming rusted and worn. When I removed the old impact, my impact appeared to be almost brand new. There have been numerous reviews stating that it is extremely difficult to get on. I had no trouble putting mine on. I was impressed. Excellent product; I wouldn’t be without it. All of my air tools are equipped with protective boots, which are in excellent condition. I would strongly recommend it.
