Inverters with a run out off of less than 0.005mm, speeds ranging from 0 to 24000rpm, and a frequency range of 0-400Hz.

Bearings are of the P4 grade, with 2x7005C P4 DT and 2x7003C P4 DT being used to increase spindle life.

When used in conjunction with all C class high-speed angular contact ball bearings, the axial pre-load feature, improved support stiffness, and live spindle grinding accuracy under high-speed rotation are all advantages.

Primarily used to engrave on nonmetal surfaces such as wood and bamboo as well as standard PCB, PVC, PMMA, plastic, duotone board (ABS), and other similar materials. It can also engrave on soft metal surfaces such as gold, silver, copper, aluminum, and lead.

This is a high-quality product of excellent design. Once I got it up and running, it was unbelievably quiet. The package includes a manual, but there are no 110v settings on the device. The other reviews and answers to my questions brought me very close, but it wouldn’t properly spin up. I couldn’t find any answers on the internet either, so I had to come up with my own after doing a thorough reading of the manual. Here are the settings I’ve found to be successful with the 110v 1.5KW model HY01D511B when using an external control. An asterisk (*) indicates that the settings are as shown in the manufacturer’s video.

PD013 = 8 * = PD013 . To restore factory default settings, click here (do first.

In the case of PD001, the source of run commands (0 = operator board / 1 = external terminals) is indicated by the number 1.

It has the value 1 * because it is the source of the operating frequency (0 = operator board, 1 = external terminals).

In the example above, PD003 = 400 = Main frequency.

PD004 = 400 * = Frequency of the bas.

In this case, PD005 = 400 * = Maximum operating frequenc.

In the case of PD006, 3.0 indicates intermediate frequency (someone said it should be 3.0 for 60Hz mains – manual says 2.5 or 3.0.

PD008 = 110 is the maximum voltage.

When the PD009 is set to 7, it means that the voltage is intermediate (15 wasn’t working – extrapolated from 220v and 380v charts for constant torque).

For constant torque, the value of PD010 is 4 = Min voltage (8 wasn’t working – extrapolated from the 220v and 380v charts).

PD011 = 100 indicates that the lower frequency limit is greater than 100 hertz (recommended to avoid overheating air cooled unit.

1 * = Analog input range of 0 to 5V for PD07.

Higher analog frequency with PD072 = 400 .

PD141 = 110, which is the rated motor voltage.

Setting will not go higher than 7. PD142 = 7 = Rated motor current [motor says 8A] – Setting will not go higher than 7.

PD143 = 2 is the number of motor poles in the system.

At a frequency of 50Hz, PD144 = 3000 = RPM (for 24,000 at 400Hz.

Using external run commands (external run commands). In the forward direction, connect FOR to the DCM; in the reverse direction, connect REV to the DCM.

Using an external operating frequency is a good idea. ACM stands for Analog Common Mode and VI stands for Analog Input.

The Weidmuller motor connector has five pins, and it is made of brass. A connection is made between pins 1, 2, and 3 and the three power supplies of the inverter: U, V, and W. If the spindle is turning backward, swap any two of the pieces. Pin 5 is ground, and it should be connected to the inverter ground. Wire gauge should be 16AWG.

The electronics for my DIY CNC router are still in the process of being configured, so there will be no actual installation or cutting for a while. A second Arduino UNO is used to fine tune the grbl RPMs to the VFD, as well as to provide RPM override, an LCD data display, and to handle the vacuum dust collection automation with M8/M9 or spindle and feed inputs, among other things. I’m having a great time.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to read and respond to my questions before I made my purchase. With this one, I believe I made a really good decision.
