This product was purchased to polish concrete counters. It got off to a fantastic start. Everything a person could have wished for and more. That went on for four hours. The first issue I encountered was that the trigger lock refused to lock, necessitating the operator’s finger being squeezed at all times to keep it locked. This is not good.
The water inlet line was the next thing to go out of the window. It kinked at the point of entry, acting as a secondary shut off valve in and of itself. Always remember that the material used in the factory water line is as inexpensive and inflexible as it is possible to make it. The corrosion of the water orifices follows, with the orifices rusted shut within three days. The entire assembly to which you attach the polishing wheel has rusted to a cinder block finish. You would think that a tool designed for water use would be constructed of a more appropriate combination of metals. The concept is excellent, but the execution is appalling. I wish I had never purchased this particular model in the first place. There were other, less expensive models that received higher ratings than the one we chose.
