When you use our newly engineered ceramic tip, you will be able to sandblast with water, water blast, have more precise power, and use less media when compared to when you use the older steel tip.
For starters, the bottle on top makes it difficult to maneuver through tight spaces. Number two, the media ate away (elongated) the plastic port that was intended for the media to use. In the third instance, the media ate two holes in the aluminum nozzle, rendering it useless. Fourth, after only 5 minutes of use with the ceramic nozzle, the nozzle had also become longer.
Please keep in mind that I was working with fine Black Diamond coal media (40-60grit). I appeared to have used an excessive amount of media, which was understandable given the condition of the gun.
This gun may be suitable for very soft media, but it did not perform well when used with coal.
