1. Make sure that the pad is centered on the backer pad during use, or it will shorten the lifespan of the polishing pads.
2. When wet polishing, use a continuous flow of water at low RPM for best results and finish.
3. The lower grits (50#, 100#, 200#) is designed for either Wet or Dry usage. The higher grits must be used with water for the best result.
I took on a DIY Quartz countertop project. I got these to smooth my cuts. I just worked the grits up the line and even cuts that were 1/16th off were able to be smoothed out. I don’t think they’d last for frequent use but for the price it was exactly what I wanted. They are small – 3″ diameter but worked great for the edges of my slabs.
