In lieu of a 3/4-inch drive, I purchased this to replace my CP 3/4-inch drive impact driver. Because it is so lightweight, you won’t need to use the handle that came with it very often, but it will come in handy at times. I require an impact wrench for the removal of truck/trailer tire lug nuts as well as the tightening of ubolts on trailer leaf springs and trailer torque arms. My 3/4-inch gun was simply not up to the task, and the guys at the frame shop informed me that they use a short 1-inch gun, so I looked into it and discovered this one. For the first time, I used it to remove and tighten lug nuts on a trailer, and it performed admirably without any difficulty. My first use for it was to remove and tighten lugs on a truck. I set it to #2 and tightened the lugs until they were at the proper torque of 450 ft-lbs. When I checked to see if they were, they were, and my 1 inch torque wrench did not move and clicked to indicate it was at 450 or tighter.
From this point forward, I will be purchasing all AIRCAT impacts!
