3/8″ – 1/4″ NPT is the air inlet, and it can be used to get air.
I’m going to make a hold-down ring for the dead-man lever because the spring that comes with it is so hard to hold for any length of time.
Additional things you might want to know.
1) The nozzles that come with the machine aren’t big enough for the medium grit black diamond that I can buy at Tractor Supply for $10/50lb, so I need to buy my own. In the bag, it says the media needs a 1/4″ (6.3mm) tip, but I’ve been able to use it with my old gun’s worn-out 4.2mm orifice with only a few clogs. Eastwood sells 5.0mm tips that look just like these. They look just like these. There was nothing I could do about it. But each one costs $7. That’s a lot.
It has three-eighths of an inch (NPT) inlet.
