I believe that this model will be discontinued because a newer version is already available on the AC Delco tool website that uses a different type of battery than the one currently in use. However, the power is the same at 20v 2.0mah. I believe there is also a 4.0mah optional battery for the new model available somewhere. So this kit comes with two batteries, and because they are lithium-ion, they should last for many years. At 99 dollars (at the time of writing), I think it’s a great deal.
