This is an unusual set in that it includes both a polisher and a standard drill driver, but I really like how compact the size of both of these tools is. Both tools have brushed motors, but they have plenty of power for drilling small holes and polishing finishes, despite their small size. The polisher is designed to get into tight spaces or to polish smaller parts, and it is typically used in conjunction with a larger polisher. It has a handle on one side and can only be used in the forward direction; it cannot be used in the reverse. It can also be used for sanding if the appropriate attachment is utilized.
The drill is fairly basic, with a plastic outer chuck and a two-speed hi/low gearbox. It is designed for general purpose use. It does have 18 different torque settings, as well as a drill mode in which the clutch is not engaged.
