The impact works a little bit, but don’t put too much stock in it. You’ll first have to use a hand ratchet to get it free, then you can use it. There is no use for the ratchet. I had to take it apart and fix it in order for it to work. The head of it only worked one way before I fixed it. All in all, it will work around the house, but don’t rely on it if you work on things for a living. They don’t have any power, and the batteries don’t work at all. The green light will be on to show that the battery is fully charged, but you’ll need to charge it overnight to get it to work. So even if the bolt comes out on its own, it still dies in like one bolt. You might get the ratchet to work for about five minutes, though.
