I was excited to buy this tool. It has arrived. I charge the battery and put it in the ratchet wrench when I get home from work. A water pump replacement on my 2007 Toyota Avalon had already begun, so I had to stop. As soon as I got to the car, I took this AC Delco ratchet wrench with me and put it on an 8mm head on a bolt that holds a thermostat housing to an engine block. In order to loosen the ratchet, it would have to be turned a lot (and yes, I had the ratchet in “reverse” mode). In order to loosen it, I used a hand ratchet. It was not “frozen,” so it was easy to remove. Another 10mm bolt did not come loose with the AC Delco. I tried it on two more bolts and it didn’t work. I took it inside, cleaned it off, and put it back together. I’ve already sent it back. I was very disappointed.
