Vacuum Dust Extractor is compatible with standard hose sizes from 26mm to 39mm (1-1/8In.; 1-1/4In.; 1-1/4In.; 1-1/2In.; 1-3/8In.), and can fit 64mm (2-1/2In.) by removing the rubber band.

A vacuum cleaner doesn’t need an adapter to work with it.

I used this to make a way to run some conduit through it, so I bought it. The vacuum worked great even though it wasn’t as deep as I would have liked. When it was connected to the vacuum, it worked quickly and there was very little dust. I would have had to pay more and take longer if I had rented a cutting machine from HD. Once you figure out how to put it together, it’s a great deal. So be warned, but since the tool works I’m fine with that.
