Buy Air Shears Sheet Metal Pneumatic Scissors For Metal Cutting 18 Gauge Diy Tool

Plastic, aluminum, steel, and other metals are sheared with this tool.

This product is used for autobody repair.

Blades made of hardened steel cut through 18-gauge steel.

7/32″ is the width of the cut. Max.speed:2100PR. 90 psi is the maximum air pressure.

I’m going to give this the benefit of the doubt and assume that there is a learning curve rather than a bad product here. Despite the fact that the jaw action appears to work reasonably well, and I’ve been in need of this type of shear rather than traditional bypass tin snips, which require that you bend the part you’re cutting off, I didn’t get the speed or control that I had hoped from these. Their performance would start out well, but would quickly sputter out, still oscillating but not actually moving forward. The only way to get it to move forward and actually cut anything was for me to apply a lot of pressure to it. I was expecting the tool to do all of the work, rather than me. I was only cutting sheet metal with a gauge of 24 AWG. I may revise this upwards or downwards in the future, depending on how my experience changes in the meantime.
