This long-lasting Stapler is convenient, lightweight, and holds 100 staples. As a result, there are fewer reloads, allowing for uninterrupted operations. Using a strong 20 gauge (1/4 inch to 5/8 inch) in a fast load/unload magazine, you will be able to complete the majority of your project quickly and easily. Arrow T50 and compatibles are used.
I, on the other hand, had a very different experience.
In my Texas attic, I’ve been stapling sheets of thick radiant barrier to the under rafters with staples.
In order to complete the job, I purchased and used electric staple guns. There were two of them that I went through. They had reached their limit and had to stop working.
It’s possible that I ran 4,000 staples through them. They were frequently jamming, and the height of those staplers was quite impressive.
The height was important because the slope of the roof prevented me from stapling too close to the top of the rafter bay due to the slope of the roof.
Okay, let’s get this stapler going.
I’m currently staying at a friend’s house, and I informed him that I had installed a radiant barrier in his residence.
I experimented with a staple gun he had, which was a small electric device. Immediate failure is guaranteed. There was insufficient force to drive staples into the plywood.
Then he informed me that he possessed this unit. The central pneumatic 20 gauge wide crown stapler is located in the center of the machine.
While the staple mechanism that holds the staples in place did come loose on a couple of occasions, this was due to my poor technique in holding the stapler. There were never any issues as long as my arm was clear of the end of the rope.
With the staple gun, I was able to put up 21 7-foot-long sheets of radiant barrier (for a total of 147 linear feet), using approximately 5,000 staples. I used a lot of staples to hold the sheets together. The stapler performed admirably, and I intend to purchase one for myself!.
It was small and light, and its height was not excessive. It was fantastic.
Before using the machine for the first time, and after every hour of use, remember to add a couple of drops of the included machine oil to the air inlet.
In this case, the air compressor was a very small, portable unit. We set the pressure to 90 pounds per square inch.
I used 1/4″ T50 staples as well as the 20 ga.crown staples for this project. Both of them did an excellent job.
There aren’t enough positive things to say about this stapler.
