It’s past time to update your toolbox of tricks. When it comes to power, the AIRCAT 6265 1 HP Composite Angle Die Grinder provides quiet, efficient performance that is better for you and your workspace. The AIRCAT die grinder operates at decibel levels that are lower than those recommended by OSHA, making it more comfortable for your ears. The AIRCAT 6265 is equipped with a patented exhaust muffler/filter technology that prevents you from inhaling exhaust air particulates or having them blown into your eyes while operating. It incorporates an ergonomic handle design to combat fatigue, which is better for your hands, wrists, and arms than a traditional design.

In addition to 18,000 RPM, a 1 HP non-stall motor, patented silencing technology that reduces noise to (89 dBA), an ergonomically designed housing, the most comfortable trigger in the industry, which is a feathered trigger for better speed control, and precision bevel gears for dependability, this power tool also boast.

AIRCAT manufactures high-quality power tools that are ideal for any home handyman or construction professional. The AIRCAT line of pneumatic power tools represents the most significant advancements in the performance of pneumatic power tools in more than 30 years, according to the manufacturer. Our tool line, which was established in 1998, has a significantly reduced level of noise while maintaining greater power and torque. Aircat also includes an ergonomically engineered handle design that has been patented to relieve stress and fatigue on the operator’s hands, wrists, and arms during operation. Most AIRCAT tools are equipped with patented tuned exhaust muffler technology, which allows discharged air to pass through without developing back pressure, allowing the tool to retain more power while simultaneously reducing noise by a significant amount.

This is the fourth AirCat 1hp grinder that I’ve purchased because they are so much better than the other brands that I’ve used for many years, ranging from the cheapest to the most expensive. I am a professional metal sculptor, and I purchase a grinder for each grinding application so that I do not have to swap wheels, discs, and burrs on a regular basis. Many of my other pieces have been replaced by these four grinders—I like the Huskys, but they have significantly less power—and as those die, I will replace them with AirCats, as I prefer them to any Jet, CH, Chicago Pneumatic, Dewalt, Napa pro, or delivery truck item I’ve tried—every single one of which I’ve burned up over the last 20 years.

They do, however, have a significant problem. The trigger is NOT a feather trigger, as the name implies. It takes a lot of energy to be involved all the time. Consequently, I grind away the red nubb above the trigger and then extend the trigger along the upper length of the body with a length of 10 gauge steel. This is the result. It provides me with leverage that makes it easy to use the grinder for a full day’s worth of work (and I’ve spent many many full days of work on these amazing grinders over the years). It takes approximately 20 minutes to switch them out. Then they’re absolutely fantastic.
