Buy AIRCAT 6700-DCE-3 3

Very clean – no exhaust air is present.

Only 70 decibels are produced.

DC converter, 20-foot DC cable, and two polishing pads are included.

For sanding and polishing application.

AIRCAT has developed a series of “lubrication-free” sanders that incorporate the most up-to-date engineering concepts, advanced materials, and patent-pending designs into a single machine. The AIRCAT technology reduces the weight, noise, and vibration of the tool while also extending its life. When it comes to operating comfort, the “smooth design throttle lever” and the “ergonomic grip” found in Orbital sanders are unrivaled. For small areas, the 6700-DCE-3 is an electric sander/polisher with a direct current (DC). It comes with a DC converter box, a 20-foot cable, and two polishing pads for extra convenience. It can be used in situations where compressed air is not practical, such as in a home workshop.

This sander has a very slow start — it takes approximately 3 to 4 seconds to get up to speed with this model. This means that you will not be able to begin sanding your workpiece until the problem is resolved. The fundamental technique for using a RO sander is to always start the sander on the workpiece and stop it when it has moved away from the workpiece surface. This principle prevents a sloppy scratch pattern from forming.

Because the machine and your hand both vibrate violently during the startup phase, it is impossible to hold the sander while it is on the workpiece and starting it with the slow start. As a result, you must first get it up to speed before applying it to your workpiece. Unfortunately, by this time, the pad is spinning at a tremendous rate, resulting in horrendous rotary scratches on your piece of work. Perhaps I received a faulty power supply, but if the sander’s slow start is intentional, it demonstrates a staggeringly poor level of design.

The sander itself appears to be of high quality, and the motion is relatively smooth. Because of the initial rotary motion and scratch pattern that occurs when presenting the machine to the surface you’re working on, I don’t think I’d want to use it as a polisher either, to be completely honest with you.

In a nutshell, the machine’s inability to start quickly renders it virtually useless!!. As a result, I strongly recommend that you use a different product until AirCat resolves this horrendous design flaw.
