Drilling slanted holes is easy with this tool.
Copper plugs need to be checked to make sure they are accurate and long-lasting. Precise graduation, clear pointer, and spacing function.
A clamping range: 44mm, after adjusting, from 27.5mm to 43.6mm. There are 5 adapter sleeves that make it easy to attach an electric drill or grinder.

Because this drill accessory is so great, I can’t come up with enough good words to describe it. It is well-designed and built to last. The base is made of solid cast iron and has a lot of places where you can clamp it down. The corners are depressed for easy mounting on a table or large work surface (mandatory).
A lot of what is said in the description can be found in the pictures. I also hope that my photos will be of help to you. I have shown a comparison of two drills. The orange one fits perfectly, especially with one of the useful fine abrasive mounting strips that come with this kit. The green one looks like it might fit, but it doesn’t. Also, I’ve shown how my corded (old) rotary tool fits in the mount, as well as how it looks. There were no adapters that worked with this model, so I wrapped several layers of electrical tape around the tool where it goes on the stand. I don’t think there is enough mounting surface on the tool to keep it in place under a lot of stress, but with a shim, brace, and small set-up square, it might work. I think it might be hard to set this up as a rotary press, but the stand might be useful enough to make it worth the trouble.
I have shown a few other things I bought to make the stand more useful to me. This drill press stand comes with a small drill press fence with a stop, which is a Craftsman drill press accessory. It’s a good size for this stand and fits well, is very adjustable, and can be attached with T-bolts and wing-nuts, which make it easy to set up. To make it fit, I bought the wing nuts and shorter bolts from the hardware store. Blue PowerTech mini Clamps are also shown. They’re very useful for this stand, and they look great. The T-bolts shown are 5/16-18; I bought the shorter ones on their own.
The biggest hole I’ve drilled with this set-up is a 1 inch wide hole “hole with a Forstner bit, no hitch or sna. The drill I’m using weighs more than 4 pounds, and I don’t want it to be any heavier. It has a 1/2 chuck, is rated at 6 amps, and comes with a second handle that fits on the collar. It can do at least some medium-duty jobs, though. There are drills that fit this stand: 1/2 “They have a collar that lets you add another handle.
If you want to use it, you can find a drill that fits, but it might not be your favorite. That’s what other people have said. You can’t use this stand for heavy-duty drill press work, and it will be limited by the size and shape of your drill. This stand is not for that kind of work. It’s strong, and you can buy more powerful tools and wrenches, as well as other useful things.
However, safety issues should be brought up. There is a lot of room for error and injury when using this stand with a drill. It should be bolted to a table, bench, or work surface that can’t be moved; it should be used with clamps or some other way to keep the work in place; the drill tool should be easy to turn off; it should not be used by children without adult supervision; I don’t think the reverse direction in a drill should be used with this stand. Even though it is small, it is much more dangerous to use than a drill press.
There is nothing better than my universal drill press stand. Unlike my regular press, it can do so many things that it couldn’t. It can drill radially, swing over the table edge to drill vertical holes (like in the legs of a table), drill horizontally, drill small holes, and so on. It’s great for my hobbies and small repair jobs, and it fills a tool need that no other tool can. 4 stars instead of 5 because the finish is rough and the wrenches are short and cheap.
