Buy APLMAN 5-Inch 10-Amp Deep Cut Portable Band Saw Handheld Band Saw for Metal with Variable Speed Saw for Wood

This deep cutting band saw can cut tubing, pipes, rebar, wood, metal, and plastic. If you need to cut things deep, this band saw is one of the best tools you can have at your job.

22.50 pounds: The band saw is easy to move.

DIY, semi-professional, and professional users can use this.

VARIABLE SPEED: A built-in hang hook lets the user hang the saw without damaging the front handle or castings. Variable speed dials let the user change the speed for different materials and different applications (50-420 SFPM).

ERGONOMIC DESIGN: The blade tension lever makes it quick and easy to install the blades, the blade guides can be adjusted for precise cuts, and the lightweight design reduces user fatigue.

You get a saw blade, a storage case, the manual, two carbon brushes, and a wrench with this package.

I bought this saw because it had multiple speeds, good reviews, and looked like it was made well. I didn’t mention that the price was very good. No need for anything that can be taken with you when you’re 71. When I needed to move the saw, I made a fixture to hold it in place on my roll-around welding table. This didn’t cut or change anything on the saw so it could still be moved if it was needed. To keep the trigger on at all times, I put a simple hose clamp on it. I then ran the cord to an outlet that I could switch to turn it off or on. The saw is very good at cutting, but it has to be turned on for a few minutes before you can start cutting with it. This is so it can reach full speed. Start capacitor: I think it’s faulty, but I haven’t called the manufacturer yet because I use the saw and don’t want to return the whole thing. Because of the slow start-up, I would give it more than five stars. Makes me wonder if any of these units are checked before they’re put in boxes. A lot of people thought the packaging was very nice. It just doesn’t work the way it should.

An ECM-like board that controls speed was found to be the culprit of the slow start. There was no capacitor in the board. Slow start: So far, we’ve only been going at the slowest speed, which is slow. There was no load on the blade when it snapped. Not at all. The blade is still very sharp with all of its teeth.
