325P ONYX is a 6-inch finishing palm sander from Astro Pneumatic that has a high-power motor and a 2.5mm (3/32-inch) Stroke Finish. The tool is very light (1.5 pounds) and small, so the person who is using it won’t get tired very quickly. In addition, it has a design that reduces noise, low vibration, and orbital action for a clean finish without swirls.
I’m not an auto body person, so I don’t know what makes this sander good. I can say that it is lighter than my friend’s more expensive sander and did the same job.
I don’t think I could do it by hand. Any person who likes to do things on their own, as well as professionals, would love this sander.
That’s not something I’m a fan of. But for a few extra dollars, you can get a Velcro one if you want.
