There are no pins in this design, so the universal head can move in any direction and rotate freely.
As a result of Astro’s Nano size and “Anti-Floppy” design, it doesn’t feel loose after a lot of use. It may be stiffer out of the box before it’s been used for a while, though.

I own a very successful auto shop in Texas, and I’ve been working on cars for 17 years. I’m also an ASE Master with my L1 and L3, and I’ve been working on cars for that long. As anyone else, I’m trying to save money by not buying sockets I don’t use very often. I tried these sockets to see how they worked.
None of the other astro products I own are broken. These sockets were released too soon, and I don’t think they were ready or tried enough. With time, they will become less stiff.
Besides, I’ll keep them. I’ll just change the 19 and 17 with snap-on ones, I think. You can do better than this.
